Walks with Hawks was started in 2001, being the first of its kind in the Gloucestershire area other than the Falconry centres to offer
Bird of Prey Experiences, Hawk Walks, Owl Encounters, Etc.
We offer a range of packages giving you the chance to handle and fly a variety of Birds of Prey in a stunning rural setting.
Our Professional, knowledgeable and passionate staff have a wealth of practical experience and have inexhaustible enthusiasm for Birds of Prey and Falconry. They are more than happy to spend time with people interested in this absorbing art. We ensure that our birds are treated with the utmost respect and with very high standards of care.

Your Help, Helps Us To Help And Is Greatly Appreciated.
An important part of our work is the rescue and rehabilitation of wild, injured birds of prey or unbelievably captive bred, neglected or mistreated birds. These are either brought to us by the Vet or brought to our attention by phone calls from concerned people. Our aim is always to return as many wild injured birds
back to freedom as soon as possible.
We are lucky to have an exceptional avian vet,Greg Simpson from Woodland's Vetenairy Practice who is kind enough to treat the wild raptor's we have free of charge in their time of need. It is thanks to generous public donations that we are able to continue this very worthwhile work as this helps to pay for
the equipment needed and the food bills.
The Hawk Walk and Owl Encounters help towards this to.
We are pleased to say that we have a very high success rate
in this extremely rewarding area.
The satisfaction as we release these birds and see them flying free with another chance is hard to describe, but is something we cherish.
Display Falconers For Centre Parcs Longleat.
All this was started by Phil Lott as a hobby some years ago
and has now been taken over by his wife Clare due
to a severe back injury.
Phil still helps out when he can but these days
it is not always possible.
We are also very pleased to announce that Clare has
gone into partnership with
Gary Lawrence and "The Art Of Falconry".
Clare is now the display falconer at Centre Parcs
in Longleat a position she feels honored to have.
She has over the last few years become a very
competant falconer and has decided to leave her
catering career behind for pastures new.
